Avril Payment Solution in Namibia has been providing Payroll Deduction Management Service (PDMS) to the Namibia Government since 2003. The computer program (application) used to provide this service has been developed in-house and is exclusively owned by Avril Payment Solution Namibia. This Payroll Deduction Management Service (PDMS) application is the original and most advanced application of this nature. Other companies have tried to develop similar applications but we believe they do not have the extensive experience or depth of skills needed to develop a system similar in functionality, security and robustness as the original PDMS developed by Avril Payment Solution in Namibia. Payment Solutions Africa (PSA), operating as Payment Solutions Malawi, Payment Solutions Kenya, Payment Solutions Uganda and Payment Solutions Zambia, has been using Avril Payment Solution (APS) in Namibia as reference site. There is no relationship between Avril Payment Solution in Namibia and Payment Solutions Africa or any of its subsidiaries in Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia or any other country in Africa or the rest of the world. The application deployed by Payment Solutions Africa is not the same Payroll Deduction Management Service application that is operating in Namibia. Please contact us if more details are needed. Kind regards, Hardus Viljoen Managing Director Avril Payment Solution (Pty) Ltd Republic of Namibia hardus@apsnamibia.com 15 August 2011
Men on the Side of the Road received an annual donation of N$ 25 000 from Avril Payment Solution. Since 2009 Avril has been making annual donations to Men on the Side of the Road. The donation enables the MSR to continue with the day to day running of the project. In 2010 Avril also enabled the project to purchase an apparatus to make fire bricks from paper and newspaper. This project is still underway to establish the most efficient method to make the paper bricks more combustible. Men on the Side of the Road connects unemployed people with job and training opportunities. The MSR projected was launched in 2007. The MSR acts as the voice for the voiceless and provides them with the basics necessary to improve their chances in life. The aim is to find jobs for the unemployed men on the side of the road. This is achieved by organising, training and placing reliable, skilled and motivated labour in jobs.
